Christmas with Dad

Hello World Long time no see I’ve been neglecting our website for some time now, with the exception of updating photos now and then. Not purposely, but I just don’t catch a break most days. And when I do, I spend it catching up on my DVR’d shows or playing on my computer (Sims 2).

We are doing very well. Dave & I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on April 14th. We decided to “go away” for the weekend, while Dave’s parents kept Priscilla. Stayed at an Embassy Suites hotel w/ and Indoor heated pool/hot tub and the most elaborate breakfast you can think of. It was absolutely delicious.

I now am a mother of a 10 month old, and most days it feels like it has gone by in the blink of an eye. I understand now, when parents used to tell me to enjoy EVERY tiny moment, because before I know it, she’ll be gone. Priscilla happy and healthy, and that’s all that matters to me. She has apparently learned “Old McDonald” at school, because she sings “E I E I E I E I” all the time. When we sing along with her, she smiles really big.

We will be planning her 1^st Birthday very soon. It’s less than 2 months away. I will be sending an invitation to EVERYONE; even though I know you can not all make it out here. I’m sending them for keep sake.

Last weekend (April 21^st) Priscilla and I went to the Memphis Zoo to meet 2 of my friends from my online message board (AmericanBaby.com). They both have kids born in June 2006. It was a blast, and I’m really happy that we bought a zoo pass. While we were there though, the Farm Train derailed and rear passenger train flipped over off the track. 8 children and 2 adults were injured and taken to the hospital. Good think we decided to take a break before heading to “Once Upon a Farm” or else we could have been the ones on the train when it happened! God is with us. There are pictures of us at the Zoo in our pictures folder……

Well, that’s about it with me. I need to go gather my things to go home now.

Priscilla Learns to Crawl - Video

Hey everyone!! We just returned last weekend from Priscilla’s first trip out of town. We visited Walt Disney World’s Epcot and Sea World with her. Dave & I went to Disney MGM & Islands of Adventure alone while my In-Laws watched Cilla for us. She went to Cypress Gardens with them on the Friday after Thanksgiving and was very good for them!! All in al, I think it was a good trip. We didn’t get much sleep at night, but we did well to stay awake during the day. I got a good picture of Priscilla and Shamoo, it’s in the Pictures section if you want to check it out.
Thanksgiving was o.k., but I really missed the other family and food. We ate at the Chinese resturant in Epcot for our Thanksgiving dinner. Really made me miss Turkey & Dressing…. and Aunt Cheryl’s Chocolate Pie, haha.

In other news: Priscilla is 5 months old now. Time really flies and you dont even think about it. I weighed her myself and she was 16.4 lbs. I dont know how many lbs and oz that it, but at 4 months she was 15 lbs 4 oz, so she’s gained some weight anyway. I’m wondering how long she is, so I will need to measure her soon for her baby book.

Ok, off I go. Today is Dave’s Dad’s Birthday. We are going to dinner tonight at Texas Roadhouse…. gotta go get ready. Toodles!! (and enjoy all the new pictures…. I’m a pictureholic )

Hello everyone! Well Priscilla turned 4 months old on October 22nd. How time flies with a baby. Her appointment was today for shots. She did VERY well. She even gave a little smirk to the nurse after she gave her the shots. What a trooper! She is 26 inches long, 15lbs 4oz, and her head circumference is 42cm. Very healthy girl! Her height (length) is in the 90%. She’s gonna be a tall one We’ve posted new pictures on the picture and video page. Take a look.

Well, Priscilla started Daycare. Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 9:30am - 2:30pm. Dave’s mom is nice enough to pick her up and watch her till Dave gets home since I will be working till 6:30pm those nights. She seems to like her teachers, and they like her as well. Today is her 2nd day, and we’ve already lost her dolly. I don’t know if it fell out of her bag on the way out to the car or what, but I’m going to miss it if we can’t find it. It’s the one in her pictures with her, she really likes playing with her.

Other than that, Priscilla is growing like a weed. I took her to the Dr. for a rash under her chin and when they weighed her she was 13 lbs 6 oz! We didn’t check her length, but she’s already getting too long for some of her onesies.

Tonight we are going to get her 3 month pictures done at The Picture People. Of coarse I will put them up when I get them. We are going to get her ‘Halloween’ pictures done and she is going to be a Pea in a Pod! CUTE!

Well, I’m off for now. Gotta get back to work.
